• Help develop sales in the Marine, Offshore and Oil & Gas sectors. • Focus on following up leads, finding new opportunities, and increasing order intake. • Take ownership from enquiry to order receipt and support the bid process. • Sell GE Vernova services, maintenance, and equipment upgrades to customers globally. • Support internal sales process and act as an advisor to other regional GE Vernova businesses. • Generate a pipeline of opportunities and negotiate and close deals. • Proactively manage opportunities through Salesforce. • Initiate contacts, visits, and develop relationships at all relevant levels with customer accounts. • Develop job specific differentiators to create competitive offerings. • Plan and organise sales approach to assure effective development of sales opportunities. • Liaise with Commercial Operations & Application Engineering departments to help build winning bids. • Regular travelling to customer meetings in the UK and overseas.
• Proven experience in developing business and relationships within a Sales environment in markets such as Offshore Oil & Gas, Marine. • Proven track record in previously capturing and interpreting customer requirements on a regular basis. • Valid driver’s license. • Experience in target account sales and working to given quotas. • Flexibility and eligibility to travel domestically within the UK and overseas on a few weeks’ notice for periods of a few days up to a week. • Adaptability and an enthusiastic approach – a team player and effective communicator. • Fluency in English, both verbal and in writing.
