📋 Description
• Ensure that the offshore platform designs meet the HVDC system requirements; • Certification processes and safety by design are inherent in the development. • Make holistic multidisciplinary considerations where clashes, constraints and difficulties arise. • Demand both technical expertise and knowledge of the offshore design cycles. • Appreciation for HVDC systems and strong leadership and communication ability. • Expert knowledge on offshore platform regulations (DNVGL-ST-0145 etc). • Experience with offshore certification bodies and Marine Warranty Surveyor agencies. • Expertise with stressed skin platform design and managing T&I (Transport and Installation) constraints. • Evaluate sea-fastening and full project lifecycle considerations. • Ensure effectiveness of design against delivery and exploit global cost optimization across consortium. • Ensure effectiveness of design against sustainability considerations. • Analytical mind, rigorous and commitment. • Professional English both verbal and written.

• 10+ years of engineering activities in offshore platform or naval disciplines. • Experience of leading multi stakeholder groups to solution. • Skilled in identifying, handling, and mitigating technical risk in projects. • Global experience and mindset including a high level of cultural competence and sensitivity. • Strong influencing and relationship building skills, and across cultures. • Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to succinctly communicate complex messages. • Willingness to work in different locations for short or medium period and to travel worldwide.
