📋 Description
• The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be part of our Dynamic Sales Solution Service. • Provide strategic, outbound and proactive sales for 6 multi-branded hotels. • This position is home-based and reports to a Director of Sales. • Requires bi-monthly travel for in-market visits. • Deliver bi-weekly sales strategy presentations over MS Teams. • Develop and nurture a sales pipeline utilizing Salesforce CRM. • Manage client expectations and maintain a high level of client satisfaction. • Ability to travel for occasional in-market visits to elevate client relationships.
🎯 Requirements
• Hotel Industry Sales Experience: 3 or more consecutive years of hotel guestroom sales experience in business transient, crew, and government segments within a select service hotel. • 2 years of experience in a Dual or Area hotel sales role is preferred. • Strong understanding of hotel systems, RFP process, and brand tools. • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. • General hotel operations knowledge. • Technical Proficiency: Proven experience using a CRM system to manage your sales pipeline. • Strong ability to use all Microsoft Office applications (ie. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint). • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong organization, time management, and adaptability skills are essential. • A collaborative team player who is goal-oriented.
