Description

• Responsible for the development of interfaces to existing data sources (SQL, file, API etc.) • Development of data preparation, aggregation and cleansing pipelines (ETL). • Cloud expert and specialist in at least one of the major hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure). • Experience in the design and implementation of scalable cloud architectures, ideally in production environments. • Worked with event and streaming technologies such as SQS, PubSub, EventHub and Kafka. • Documentation of data structures in a data dictionary. • Storage of data in a central data store (SQL, No-SQL, Hadoop etc.). • Develop RESTful API services using established frameworks and standards (Flask, Swagger). • Responsible for writing automated tests and documentation, implementing CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• At least 8 years' experience in software development in an industrial environment. • Sound knowledge of Python, including libraries relevant to data science. • Knowledge of Java, Scala or Kotlin, as well as Machine Learning is desirable. • Proven experience with SQL (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle) and No-SQL (Mongo DB) databases. • Familiarity with Big Data technologies, especially in the Hadoop ecosystem. • Solid experience with container technologies and micro-services, as well as cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Strong leadership skills and experience in building and leading teams and project management. • Excellent communication skills in German (at least B2) and English. • High level of result and customer orientation and willingness to travel for projects.
