Description

• Girls Who Code seeks a Program Implementation Specialist to support educators nationwide. • Responsible for managing communications with volunteers and providing support on technical issues. • Recruit and collect feedback from Mentoring Corps participants. • Ideal candidate has outreach, customer support, and event planning experience. • Part-time (20 hours per week) fully remote position; applicants must be 18+.

Requirements

• Strong customer-service orientation and follow through; driven to adapt and problem solve. • Excellent communication skills; ability to present information to and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. • Process-oriented, with a successful track record in shaping and implementing new procedures with an eye toward efficiency, such as event planning, communication campaigns, and stipend remittance. • Reliable internet connection. • Attention to detail and an eye for consistency and branding. • Comfortable working independently and being a part of a remote, distributed team. • Experience within academically and culturally diverse classroom community in a teaching or operations role strongly preferred. • Experience with Google Suite and Salesforce preferred. • Familiarity with marketing tools such as Mailchimp, CampaignMonitor a plus. • Computer science experience is not required. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred. • Passion for our mission to close the gender gap in technology fields through a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
