• Inspired by how developers organize their work, GitBook is a hub for documentation for high-performing teams. • GitBook is a fully remote company with a team distributed between Europe, North America, and Asia. • As a small team, we’re all generalists and constantly picking up new challenges. • When it comes to go-to-market, we're focused on making GitBook the go-to docs solution for large companies. • As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll be the bridge between our customers, sales, and product teams. • Leveraging your deep understanding of the GitBook product and customer needs, you will help prospects and existing customers maximize the value from our tool.
🎯 Requirements
• 3-5 years experience in client-facing roles, including technical consulting, product demonstrations, and implementation support • Strong understanding of OpenAPI specifications, API design principles (including RESTful APIs, Swagger, and OAuth2), GitHub, and common web technologies • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, or similar, with the ability to work on API integrations and custom implementations • Deep understanding of GitHub and CI/CD pipelines • You are customer-centric and data-driven, think analytically and are able to rightsize your efforts based on customer/business needs • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively • Native English speaker
