• As an Engineering Manager, GitLab Dedicated, your primary focus lies on hiring and building a world-class team and putting them in the optimal position to succeed. • You’ll do this by maintaining an environment where team members can thrive and the team produces results. • You will partner with a Product Manager to connect business goals and customer needs with sound engineering to create a scalable product. • Your team will be globally distributed and you will work in an async and agile way to improve the reliability, quality, security, and performance of the GitLab Dedicated product. • In this role, you will participate in the Dedicated incident escalation rotation to enable engineers to meet GitLab Dedicated availability goals and SLAs. • The Dedicated teams build and manage our GitLab Dedicated SaaS service and are working on projects that enable us to better meet customer needs. • 3+ years of experience leading single or multi tenant SaaS systems in an Infrastructure, SRE, or similar team • Ability to deep dive into technical issues and translate this to understandable language for the business • Experience hiring, coaching, growing, and retaining Engineering talent • Deep technical understanding of running SaaS applications and infrastructure at scale • Experience leading a team on a large-scale consumer platform • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
