•Company Overview: Glass Lewis provides governance solutions to institutional investors and publicly-listed companies, covering 30,000+ meetings annually across 100 global markets. •Position: Employment Counsel, Global providing legal support across international operations and ensuring compliance with employment laws. •Responsibilities: Monitor employment laws, coordinate templates, draft policies, support employee lifecycle, manage legal disputes, offer legal support across jurisdictions.
•Law degree from an accredited law school in Europe •Licensed and in good standing with jurisdiction in which the candidate is admitted to practice law •5+ years’ experience practicing employment law in-house, in a company with a global workforce •Familiarity with employment laws and regulations in the US and Canada is preferred •Excellent research abilities and strong interest in global employment laws and regulations •Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail •Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and confidentially •Ability to work independently while being a team player with a positive attitude •Fluency in French is considered a plus but is not mandatory
