📋 Description

• Data Scientist with strong Business Intelligence, SQL, statistics, and Python knowledge. • Opportunity to work on projects that support Federal Health Agencies. • Develop next-generation analytics and reporting systems that directly impact healthcare quality. • Code and validate healthcare metrics in Databricks. • Maintain data documentation and definitions. • Apply software engineering best practices to analytics code. • Provide clean, transformed data ready for analysis. • Support critical BI dashboards with actionable data.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with six years of relevant technical experience OR Masters degree with four years of relevant technical experience OR PhD with two years of relevant technical experience. • Experience working with medical claims data. • Medicare Part A, B, and D claims experience would be ideal. • Expert skills with SQL and basic statistics. • Intermediate expertise in Python programming. • Strong problem solving and structuring skills. • Ability and desire to take ownership of and initiative for analysis, from requirements clarification to deliverables. • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment effectively. • Strong technical communication skills: both written and verbal. • Attention to detail. • Ability to understand and articulate the "big picture" and simplify complex ideas. • Ability to identify and learn applicable new techniques independently as needed.
