📋 Description

• As part of the Italy team, you’ll focus on helping to promote the products and services through a consultative approach. • This team works to effectively align the solutions and services to customer business objectives and demonstrate a quantifiable value proposition for the customer. • By listening and engaging to understand clients' educational and training strategies and key initiatives, you can identify critical capabilities where our solutions can deliver value. • As Principal Technical Consultant you will work directly with clients to identify, design and implement existing or new software solutions leveraging the partner’s platforms to meet their unique needs. • You will be responsible for maintaining expert-level knowledge and proficiency in the portfolio solutions mainly around Learning Management System, LMS (Blackboard, Moodle, SAP Litmos LMS), virtual classrooms and video content management systems (Panopto), including their functionality, application, administration, and deployment methodologies. • Participating in pre-sales activities including proposal development for Italy and Spain • Developing and conducting structured technical mentoring, training and workshops • Actively gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications and designs • Architecting and delivering portfolio of emerging and custom strategic offerings • Provide first line support to Panopto users in Italy • Something preferable, not a must. • Ensuring quality and timely delivery of technical project tasks, translating technical progress into project status, technical risk management, ensuring smooth transition to maintenance • Partnering with the Project Manager to estimate staffing plan, work tasks and level of effort, and project timeline • Setting and managing expectations on multiple concurrent projects • Analyzing, architecting, and leading the implementation of component-based applications and performing hands-on coding as necessary • Evaluating risk and impact associated with proposed scope and design changes • Adhering and contributing to establishing quality standards and best practices • Identifying new technologies; performing comparison analysis and rapid prototyping

🎯 Requirements

• Knowledge of the Higher Education market and the Corporate Training market, in manufacturing/banking/pharma industry is preferred • Fluent English required • A knowledge and understanding of online Learning Management System is desired of at least 5 years of experience. • Experience with SaaS Products preferred • Has excellent analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills • Has a professional demeanor and can establish and maintain effective business and client relationships • Has considerable experience in web-based applications and SaaS focused on course management, portals, content management, web conferencing, lecture capture, video content management, or similar application with mostly user-contributed content with exposure to all tiers • Is skillful in SQL, XML and Rest API. • Able to Design and Create Analytics and reports for Learning Achievements. • Is quality-conscious with strong attention to detail in documenting, handling, tracking, and documenting technical issues • Is trained and has light experience in product and/or project management best practices and procedures. • He has to prove that he/she have been participating in at least one LMS implementation project for a corporation. • Ability to deliver product presentations and demostrations to a executive level. • Is a strong, self-driven team player who excels in Customer Service and understands the “customer first” philosophy • The ability to support Marketing, Sales, RFP, and other efforts towards successful client acquisition and retention is a plus • A bachelor’s degree is preferred • Strong professional interpersonal and communication skills in Italian, Spanish and English • Willingness and ability to travel • Key contributor, willing to go the extra mile to achieve desired results
