📋 Description
• GlossGenius is building an ecosystem enabling entrepreneurs to succeed. • We empower small business owners to focus on being creators, not admins, by offering a range of business management tools including booking and scheduling, marketing, analytics, payment processing and much more. • Over 80,000 small business owners have chosen to rely on GlossGenius every day to run their entire set of business operations. • As an Engineering Manager at GlossGenius, you are responsible for growing, managing, and mentoring a team of engineers within our product engineering organization. • You can work remotely from anywhere in Canada.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years of experience as a people manager • Experience leading through other leaders; this can be through technical leads or people managers • Proven ability to collaborate with product/program managers, designers, and peers to build plans, set expectations, and successfully deliver new 0 to 1 products and features • A strong business acumen and customer-centric mindset, backed by data analytics skills. • Solid technical foundations, while this is not a hands-on coding role, you should still show sound foundational system design knowledge and be able to guide a team through a technical discussion • Ability to recruit and build high-performing teams to build the next generation of GlossGenius products! • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • Previous experience as leading cross stack engineering teams is a nice to have.
