Description

• About Ada Infrastructure: A global data center business committed to being a positive force for technology, people, and the planet. • Summary: As Director of Data Center Electrical Design & Engineering, develop global design and engineering strategies and standards for data centers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. • 10 years of relevant experience in electrical design and/or electrical engineering, with a focus on data center infrastructure. • Professional Engineering license. • Strong knowledge of electrical design, utility sub-stations (HV), power distribution systems (MV & LV), UPS, and backup power systems. • Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations. • Experience with electrical safety processes & procedures and SCCAF studies, including implementation. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team. • Preferred qualifications: • Experience with high-density data centers and hyperscale environments. • Experience in construction methods, schedules and budgets as it relates to the data center electrical systems. • Experience with prefabrication/modular construction and manufacturing techniques. • Thrives in a fast-paced and continuously developing environment. • Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, communication and collaboration in a team environment. • Self-starter with superior analytical skills; a problem solver with an astute attention to detail. • Possesses good judgment, honesty, and utmost integrity.
