📋 Description
• Gluo is a leading eCommerce agency specializing in Headless and Composable Commerce. • Seeking a Software Developer to contribute to retail data platform engineering and composable. • Provide technical support for Order Management System (OMS) and Point of Sale (POS). • Collaborate with software engineering teams for APIs and middleware development. • Track and document support requests using a ticketing system. • Analyze incident trends to prevent recurring issues. • Validate changes, conduct regression testing with software developers. • Provide feedback for system improvements and collaborate on new solutions.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of industry experience as a software engineer, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with retail commerce data infrastructure(e-commerce preferably composable commerce) • Hands-on experience working with one or more global cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (Preferably AWS) • Deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and Software Engineering principles • Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and verbal) • Experience with event-driven systems, including queuing and AWS Lambda. • Proficient in Java; experience with React is highly desirable. • Familiarity with microservices architecture and developing microservices-based applications. • Experience working with retail data platforms (i.e. POS or OMS) and real-time data management using event streams is preferred • Experience working with headless/microservices architectures, including digital commerce technologies such as Fluent commerce, Adyen, Avalarra, commercetools and Elastic Path Commerce Cloud is an asset
