📋 Description

• We need an English-fluent Senior Backend Engineer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely. • We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills. • Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend solutions using Next.js and TypeScript. • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines with RAG stages to ensure efficient software delivery. • Integrate audio/video processing capabilities using ffmpeg or equivalent tools into our applications. • Architect and implement event-driven architectures to support real-time data processing and messaging. • Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality solutions. • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and other IaC tools. • Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in development, testing, and production environments.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in backend software development. • Proficiency in Next.js and TypeScript, with a strong understanding of API design and microservices architecture. • Experience working with Nest.js. • Experience in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with RAG stages for continuous integration and deployment. • Strong command of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and proficiency with related tools like Terraform. • Previous hands-on experience with audio/video processing tools like ffmpeg. • Solid understanding of event-driven architectures and message brokers. • Experience working in a startup environment, comfortable with rapid scaling and iteration. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. (C1 minimum).

🏖️ Benefits

• The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $5,000 - $7,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset. • This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform. • The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
