• Generate leads and convert candidate sign-ups for GoodParty.org • Initiate contact with inbound and outbound candidate leads and follow up on marketing-generated leads • Acquire new pledged candidates through proactive outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social networking • Master and deliver GoodParty.org’s value proposition; test persuasive communications that align with our mission • Accurately log, track, and maintain records in Hubspot and Nook.ai • Establish and grow relationships with influential contacts • Understand a political candidate’s drivers, challenges, and pain points • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to optimize strategic sales approaches • Follow a clear and defined repeatable sales process or experiment with new talk tracks
• 1+ years of work experience in sales, especially in outbound sales or customer-focused roles (like support or customer service) • A Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution • Baseline understanding of how the American political system works • Charismatic communicator, capable of engaging diverse audiences across the country • Comfortable and enthusiastic about spending 80% of your time making calls and doing frontline sales work • Determined to succeed with a track record of resilience and overcoming challenges • Experienced in using sales tools, highly organized, and have strong time management abilities • Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment • Bonus if you have experience in political technology or advocacy software • Bonus if you have familiarity with sales tools such as HubSpot, Nook.ai, Outreach, ZoomInfo, SalesNavigator, and other sales enablement tools
