• As the Business Development Director - CPG & Retail, you will be responsible for winning net-new clients within the CPG and Retail sectors with a primary focus on selling Goodway Group’s Full Funnel & Commerce Media capabilities. • Your goal is to drive at least $1M in new revenue per year, focusing on larger deal sizes and high-value client engagements. • You will be a strategic hunter, leveraging your network, outbound prospecting, and industry events to build relationships with key decision-makers. • Work closely with GMs and VPs of Gradiant, G-Comm, and Tuff to ensure a smooth handoff from sales to client success teams.
• Proven Sales Leadership: Track record of driving at least $1M+ in annual revenue through new business development. • Integrated Media Expertise: Able to talk to a client’s pain points around integrating brand and demand and national and retail media. • Commerce Media Expertise: Deep understanding of CPG and Retail Media, with knowledge of RMNs, full-funnel marketing, and data-driven performance strategies. • Strategic Hunting Mindset: Demonstrated success in outbound sales, self-generated pipeline building, and enterprise deal-closing. • Industry Network & Influence: Established network of decision-makers in CPG and Retail, with a strong personal brand as a LinkedIn thought leader and industry speaker. • Competitive Acumen: Ability to navigate complex, competitive sales cycles against PMG, Kepler, Publicis, SMG, Brainlabs, and IPG. • Storytelling & Negotiation Skills: Ability to craft compelling narratives that align Goodway’s solutions with client pain points. • Collaboration & Executive Presence: Ability to work closely with senior leadership (GMs/VPs) and seamlessly transition client relationships post-sale.
