📋 Description
• Seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Lead for our Cloud Engineering Service Area. • This role will be crucial for driving talent development and delivery readiness. • Balance internal efforts to operate the practice and external efforts to serve clients. • Set the strategy for training and development within the Cloud Engineering Service Area. • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the firm. • Oversee hiring and promotions in the service area. • Champion training and development of employees to meet client needs. • Develop a talent readiness plan to ensure the right skills are available. • Survey market trends for emerging capability needs in cloud engineering. • Maintain an inventory of capabilities needed to strengthen the service area. • Enlist experts to fill Capability Lead roles and maintain a skills matrix. • Provide comprehensive feedback to Capability Leads and other team members.
🎯 Requirements
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience. • 5+ years of professional services experience delivering solutions in cloud engineering. • 3+ years of experience in hiring and facilitating talent development. • Proven ability to create a culture of continuous learning and development. • Strong people management skills, with a track record of motivating and developing teams. • Experience in building and maintaining a skills matrix and talent readiness plan. • Expertise in partnering with talent acquisition to identify required skills for job applicants. • Strong interviewing skills, including resume screening and technical assessments. • Ability to define and implement a comprehensive evaluation framework for job applicants. • Excellent analytical and technical skills, with a keen ability to evaluate talent. • Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities. • Ability to provide clear and transparent feedback. • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage remote teams.
