•Gorilla Logic provides nearshore Agile teams to Fortune 500 and SMB companies. •Looking for a multidisciplinary Senior Android Developer with exceptional mobile development skills. •Responsible for building and maintaining web and mobile applications as part of an Agile team. •Proactively maintain and improve test, build, and release pipelines. •Collaborate with engineering, product, design, data, and engineering counterparts to execute on cross-functional initiatives. •Promote a culture that values documentation, tech specs, and post-mortems. •Peer review code and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). •5+ years of native Android app development experience required. •Proficiency in Kotlin, Dagger, RxJava, Compose, Espresso, Git. •Android build tooling like Gradle, Proguard, or similar. •Good understanding of the Android SDK is required. •Prioritizes writing maintainable code and creating a strong testing culture. •Experience with CI/CD tooling like Buildkite, Fastlane, Docker or similar. •Good communication, written, and collaboration skills. •Experience with Agile methodologies, including Kanban and SCRUM. •Strong ownership, positive attitude, organized, and self-driven. •Curious and willing to learn new technologies. •Python, Ruby, Javascript, Typescript and other web frameworks. •Previous experience working with React Native or interest in learning it.
