• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience • 5+ years of backend development experience with Kotlin • 3+ years of backend Java development experience • 3+ years of experience using a modern Java framework like Spring or Micronaut • Proficient in designing and implementing scalable backend APIs • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON • Experience with modern enterprise patterns like microservices • Development experience with SQL databases • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining a production application • Protobuf and gPRC experience • Webhooks integration experience • Next.js experience • Kafka message bus and event streaming • Experience with CockroachDB • Cloud development experience with AWS • Container experience with Docker/Kubernetes
