As we scale our operations for growth, we’re investing in our data platform to enable actionable insights, faster decision-making, and stronger, more efficient foundational data layers. • As a member of the R&D team, reporting to the Director of Product Management for our Data business unit, the Technical Program Manager, Data Platform is critical in driving the success of these efforts. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional projects that ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data solutions and will be instrumental in helping Shippo streamline its data infrastructure, fostering a self-service analytics culture. • This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of product management, engineering, data science, and business operations, ensuring our data strategy aligns with and accelerates Shippo’s mission to be the shipping layer of the internet.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent work experience • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Product Manager, or similar role in data, analytics, or software engineering • Proven ability to manage complex technical projects from concept to delivery, including coordinating across teams and managing dependencies • Strong understanding of modern data platforms, pipelines, and analytics tools, including familiarity with technologies like Databricks, Kafka, or Looker • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to tailor messages to technical and non-technical audiences • Demonstrated experience with agile methodologies and program management tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
