📋 Description
• Where you’ll work: Hungary (remote), fixed-term contract-12 months • Global Procurement at GoTo partners with business functions on their purchasing needs balancing cost, risk, and speed • As a Sourcing Lead, you will play a crucial role in executing procurement activities and supporting category management efforts • You will be responsible for managing daily purchasing requests, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers • This role demands strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple requests efficiently, and a commitment to continuous improvement • Our mission is to help our stakeholders succeed, and this role is crucial in ensuring that Global Procurement aligns business goals with strategic sourcing initiatives • Manage purchasing requests with accuracy and efficiency • Process a high volume of purchase requests daily across multiple spend categories, ensuring timely execution while maintaining compliance with company policies • Support contract and purchase order management • Assist in routing contracts, ensuring purchase orders are correctly created, and verifying proper cost center allocations with Finance teams to avoid processing delays • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions • Assist with sourcing processes and supplier negotiations • Analyze supplier spend and identify cost-saving opportunities
🎯 Requirements
• 1-3 years of Procurement experience, preferably at a Technology company • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret purchasing data and optimize procurement strategies • Highly collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships across functions and regions • Detail-oriented, proactive, and accountable • Ability to manage multiple purchasing requests with a sense of urgency while owning the outcome • Experience with procurement systems and tools • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint • Fluency in English • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s degree or equivalent experience will also be considered
