📋 Description

• Will demonstrate the ability to effectively apply the project management knowledge/management areas across the five project phases. • Will coordinate the efforts of team members, vendors, third-party contractors, and/or consultants in order to deliver the defined deliverables. • Will assign projects, build project teams, develop, plan and execute project activities and facilitate all required project communication. • Will efficiently manage change and ensure high quality control throughout each project’s life cycle. • This position will be responsible for: · Serving as the project manager for telecommunications for business solutions. • Managing the efforts of team members, vendors, third-party contractors, and/or consultants to produce the defined deliverables. • Building project teams, and developing, planning, and executing project activities. • Facilitating all required project communications in a timely manner. • Efficiently managing changes and ensuring high quality control throughout each project’s life cycle. • Sets and manages client expectations and manages all required client interactions. • Develops a positive working relationship with client personnel that foster ongoing trust and positive interactions. • Communicates effectively with clients to identify their requirements and evaluates the committed deliverable(s) to ensure it meets their expectations. • Reviews final deliverables as prepared by the project team before passing to client for approval and acceptance. • Seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen ongoing client relationships. • Builds a knowledge base of each client's business, organization, and objectives. • Remains on the forefront of new and emerging project management methodologies, practices, tools, standards, etc. • Maintains at a minimum, a working knowledge of GPC’s Internet systems, transport network, CATV systems, client/server systems, critical corporate applications, and associated technologies/architectures. • Possesses a thorough understanding of GPC’s customer service/support best practices. • Attends technical training and related seminars in order to stay competent with the technologies commonly used by the company. • Provides mentoring, training, and all required assistance for the development of project managers in other departments. • Develops processes or acquires appropriate software tools that assist with all aspects of project planning, management, and reporting.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree a plus. • 3-4 years of experience is desired. • PMP certification and previous telecommunications experience is a plus.
