Description

• Drive technical and business strategy in the Observability department • Influence the product roadmap, driving innovations • Drive system design, creating design documents • Work with the team to deliver new features • Build and operate critical systems, owning their reliability and performance • Participate in on-call rotations • Mentor and support team members • Become a subject matter expert for observability products • Gain deeper understanding of cloud products and customers

Requirements

• Motivated self-starter with a bias towards action • Customer-focused, passionate about creating intuitive products • Experience delivering projects from gathering requirements to shipping a product • Experience in building and deploying SaaS software on cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure • Strong experience in Java programming and deploying Java-based microservices • Experience with Kubernetes • Responsible for operating production services and participating in on-call rotations • Actively mentor other team members • Share knowledge by creating blog posts or giving tech talks • Curious and enjoy learning new programming languages and frameworks
