Description

• Take an active role in influencing our roadmap and your own career objectives. • Work with your team to deliver new features and iterate. • Drive projects from ideation to operations. • Contribute to other projects outside your team’s scope. • Design, build, and maintain critical systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and availability. • Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of services. • Mentor teammates and collaborate on design discussions. • Learn about the cloud product, customers, and codebase.

Requirements

• Solid experience with at least one programming language (Go preferred, but also Python, C, C++, Rust or similar) • Some experience delivering projects from gathering requirements to shipping to customers • Some experience developing software that runs in the Cloud or systems engineering • Some experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems • Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software that is easily maintained by others • Nice to haves: Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, and operational use of Grafana and Prometheus • Familiarity with being on-call and SRE tasks or infrastructure as code
