• You’ll develop a vision and strategy for your product domain • You will own your product’s roadmap, collateral, and market research • Collaborate with Grafana leadership on fine-tuning your product’s goals • Be the primary advocate and expert in your area • Strong ability to communicate needs, functionality, and details effectively • Product Managers connect Engineering, Design, and Product Design to Go-To-Market • Facilitate the free flow of information across teams and represent products to our customers • Define a vision for the future of our logging platform • Help customers drive higher uptime, fewer outages, and ultimately happier end users • Transform ideas and feedback into a product vision and roadmap • Empathize with customer problems to collect user needs, requirements, and pain points • Work closely with Product Marketing to explain our tracing platform’s unique differentiation • Use your deep product expertise to make decisions about our go-to-market strategies, pricing, packaging, licensing, and tiering

Requirements

• A BSBA/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience • 3+ years of experience in Product Management • 3+ years of experience working on a B2B SaaS product • Experience with open source or commercial logging databases and/or large scale data collection, storage, querying, and analytics • A desire to dive into complex solutions and work with a highly technical product and customers • Experience partnering with Product Design to build delightful user experiences • Experience working with engineering teams to design and build products in a fast-paced environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Bonus Points • Experience operating or using Grafana Labs open source projects, including Grafana Loki, Grafana Tempo, Grafana Mimir, or Grafana itself. • Experience with OpenTelemetry • Experience with Kubernetes • Experience building observability and/or monitoring tools and/or other types of developer tools • Experience with open source software and/or commercial open source companies • Experience with products offered both via SaaS and self-managed
