Description

• Oversee the preparation and filing of all federal, state, and local direct, indirect and property tax returns • Develop and maintain relationships with external tax advisors and direct the overall 3rd party strategy • Manage relationships with external tax advisors and consultants • Coordinate the computation and documentation of Company’s R&D tax credit • Oversee US sales and use tax compliance • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities • Manage the preparation and completion of accurate and timely year-end income tax provisions • Prepare journal entries and related monthly/quarterly account reconciliations • Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax laws and regulations • Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax legislation • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams on tax planning and reporting • Handle tax audits and disputes with tax authorities • Support special projects and initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax management • 3+ years of management/supervisory experience • Expertise in federal, state, and local tax laws • Strong knowledge of indirect tax • Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining and managing relationships with third-party tax consultants • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong leadership and communication skills • Meticulous, independent, detail-oriented, and highly organized
