Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or Accounting with an active CPA license. • 8-12+ years of experience, including time with a Big 4 public accounting firm (National Office experience or experience in a technical accounting / reporting advisory group is a significant plus), SEC registrant (with involvement in an IPO) or high-growth pre-IPO company, preferably in the fintech industry. • Highly proficient US GAAP, IFRS, SEC reporting requirements and other foreign local GAAP reporting requirements. • Strong ability to perform technical research and provide multiple viewpoints on technical accounting issues that arise to assist in arriving at the desired outcome for the business. • Superb writing skills for the preparation of technical accounting memorandums, drafting of shareholder letters and drafting the content of our financial reports. • Super verbal communication skills to articulate complex technical accounting issues and their financial statement impact to senior leadership. • Passion for continuous improvement, building greater efficiency in our business process and searching opportunities to automate the accounting functions.
