📋 Description

• Job location: Remote in India • About the role: As a Data Governance Lead, you will oversee the creation of Data Governance policies and practices, the creation and maintenance of a Data Asset Registry, and the implementation of Data Access Control across platforms. • The successful candidate will be well-versed in data governance general concepts, up-to-date with current trends, and aware of tools and technologies that will help achieve our goals. • All the while, they will be astute communicators able to navigate a complex organization distributed across multiple countries. • This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the company’s data practices at a pivotal point in setting up governance practices.

🎯 Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering field, Business Administration, or Public Administration • 4+ years of overall experience in a highly technical environment • 2+ years working in a data governance role with increasing ownership • Strong grasp of Data Governance values and techniques • Strong knowledge of databases and proficiency in SQL • Experience with Looker is a plus • Excellent English communication skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
