Description

• Looking for a highly qualified electrical engineer with significant experience in Grid Connections • Facilitate the smooth integration of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) • Offer technical guidance and expertise throughout all phases of the project • Conduct preliminary grid feasibility assessments • Create conceptual designs for interconnection facilities and associated costs • Compile and manage the grid connection application process • Evaluate utility interconnection studies and review connection agreements and designs • Perform system studies and design for hybrid generation solutions • Assess utility expansion plans to identify potential opportunities • Carry out initial designs for battery integration as part of the tender package • Create high level tender packages and manage the tender process

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering / power engineering • Proven experience in energy storage systems, electrical design, or utility coordination • Proficiency in AutoCAD and technical documentation review • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment • A full and valid driving license • Proficiency in power simulation software, such as PSCAD
