• Are you ready to drive impactful projects and build strong client relationships with some of the world's biggest brands? • Be the heart of the Delivery organization: As the right hand of the Vertical Lead, you run the Delivery organization as if it is a small company within the vertical. You plan ahead, hire accordingly, focus on the weaknesses, prioritize the most urgent topics, think in solutions and be a source of inspiration for the team surrounding you. • Team Coordination and Leadership: You coordinate and guide a team of project managers, leaders and supporters. You facilitate communication and make sure that everyone is working towards the same goals. You train, coach, manage and inspire the client-facing and internal project-team, so that this is a team that you can blindly rely on and steer towards success. To do so you organize meetings and standups, resolve any conflicts and issues in the team and use their feedback to improve internal and external processes. • Planning and scheduling: You set the stage for successful project management and establish standards and processes that all team-members can implement and follow. You implement a reporting structure that allows you to maintain overview and identify the projects or areas that need your attention • Stakeholder Management: You manage all internal and external stakeholders (client, higher management, etc.) by maintaining clear and effective communication and using your negotiation skills when needed. You set and manage the expectations of all stakeholders and ensure that the expectations are met. • Risk and Issue management: You pro-actively identify risk that could put any of the running projects in danger. From plans/plannings to skills or the availability of features/functionality… anything that might put committed deliveries at risk, you manage as if the health of your little company depends on it. You align with the involved stakeholders, make agreements and when things are starting to get out of hand, if really needed, you start and manage an escalation with the involved stakeholders. • Budget Management: While making sure the work is executed in a timely manner you monitor and manage the costs of the project execution and stay withing the allocated budgets. You know the projects through and through and therefore can monitor and report on the profitability of the projects. • Data-management and Analyses: You are a master data-wrangler and know how to learn from data as well as find issues through the data. Escalation management – Anything that threatens to escalate or needs immediate senior attention, you dive into. You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty when it comes to projects and if there’s a crisis, you are there to manage it away. Whether that means delivering images yourself or coaching team members: it doesn’t matter to you. • Continuous professionalization and documentation: If there’s a process that needs to be documented, you are there to support and make sure we have one objective truth to look at. You identify clear milestones in processes and can tie that to the data to perform in-depth analyses of performance. You can clearly outline (or even draft create) the needs for dashboards, overviews and reports so that we are always in control of our projects.
• Project Management: You are proficient in various project management methodologies and are able to operate different tools (e.g. Airtable, Jira and other project management tools) related to project management, so that you can help the team chose the right tools, methods and approaches for the challenges ahead of them. • Budget Management: You are excellent in financial planning and data-analysis, so that you can educate and support your team in keeping our projects financially healthy and on-track. • Risk Management: Your experience allows you to identify risks way before they become an issue. You support your team with risk assessment and mitigation and challenge plans accordingly. • Agency Background: You have been working in a similar environment and therefore do not only talk the talk but understand our challenges as well as the client’s challenges through and through and therefore you offer real recommendations and solutions to challenges and queries. • Quality-Driven: You understand design and the creative process, ensuring that we maintain our “quality-over-everything” reputation while delivering photo realism in all our deliveries. • Communication: You are an excellent communicator. Not only in terms of the way you speak and write in English, but you can also write short, yet effective, communication. You read body language and understand how get your message across. • Recruitment: You are able to pro-actively create a capacity plan in a way that we recruit for our needs, before positions should be filled and you possess the skills to find the right talents who not only meet the expectations in terms of skills and experience, but also who contribute in a positive way to the teams that you manage. • Proactive and self-onboarding: You are not afraid to dive into the depths of the business and familiarize yourself, even if there’s no formal training manual available. By shadowing, supporting and testing, you rapidly make every process your own. Anywhere you find knowledge gaps, you dive in and educate yourself. • High energy: Everything within Grip happens fast.
