• Role of International Recruitment Manager based in Hong Kong • Focus on recruitment activities in East Asia including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea • Manage and deliver in-country projects and activities • Develop recruitment strategies and oversee allocated budgets • Build relationships with universities, schools, and agencies • Collaborate with Global Mobility and International Partnership Managers • Prepare annual market recruitment plans • Provide market analysis and country-specific updates • Engage with diverse audiences at presentations and workshops
• 5+ years of experience in increasingly responsible roles related to education or international education • Experience representing a known institution will be a plus • Bachelor’s degree with good to strong academic performance • Master’s degree is a plus but not essential • Experience in supporting international student recruitment • Evidence of delivery to target in a marketing environment • Evidence of having developed marketing strategies for international markets • Experience in managing agents and other partners • Ability to organise own workload under pressures of time, resources, and attention to detail • Evidence of successful personal management and organisation skills • Ability to assimilate a large volume and range of information, and provide analysis and proposed actions in relation to markets • Ability to respond positively and creatively to unforeseen events whilst at home and abroad • Personal management skills include consistent professional presentation, conduct, and attitude • Development of own area of specialist responsibility and meeting set targets • Evidence of having managed projects, budgets, and other resources • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences in an engaging way • Strong English, Cantonese, and Mandarin fluency • Eligible to travel to Taiwan, Mainland China as well as other assigned markets • Study or experience abroad is strongly preferred • Voluntary or other life experience that demonstrates creativity, hard work, persistence or drive to succeed
