Accounts payable specialist • Location : Remote, India • **Willing to work in night shift from 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM IST (US PST time zone)** • A bit about you • We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join our accounting team. This role will focus on ensuring accurate coding and processing of expenses (invoices and corporate credit cards), managing email communications, supervising accounts payable specialists, and processing weekly vendor payments and employee reimbursements. Additionally, you will assist with month-end closing procedures and support ad hoc projects as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. • 4 to 6 years of experience in accounts payable and expense reporting. • Strong knowledge of invoice processing, coding, and payment procedures. • Proficiency in ERP systems; experience with Oracle Fusion and Expensify is a plus. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Ability to quickly identify and resolve data issues. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across teams. • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in pressure situation • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, able to thrive both independently and within a team. • Organized: Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality work within deadlines. • Communicative: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to engage effectively in conversations. • Team-Oriented: Aligned with GroundTruth’s vision and committed to contributing to a high-performing team. • Technically Adept: Open to learning new technologies and adapting quickly to change. • Problem Solver: Proactively identifies challenges and develops effective solutions. • Process-Driven: Continuously seeks to streamline and improve business processes for higher efficiency. • Detail-Oriented: Ensures accuracy and legitimacy in financial transactions and related reports.
