Description
• Serve as Chief Compliance Officer for GRVT Bermuda licensed entity • Responsible for compliance related matters including financial crime compliance and regulatory compliance • Act as Group Compliance Manager managing group-wide compliance projects • Develop and execute company-wide compliance initiatives including anti-money laundering and data privacy compliance • Monitor and update Senior Management on regulatory compliance development and enforcement actions • Identify recommendations to mitigate compliance and regulatory risks • Manage and work with consultants on compliance projects • Ad hoc support to onboarding requirements and KYC requests
Requirements
• At least 6 years solid Bermuda and regional general compliance experience in financial institutions and/or fintech companies • At least 1 year proven experience in leading AML compliance, sanction monitoring and business and marketing regulatory compliance program • Top integrity, professional yet flexible, self-starter, quick and willing learner • Strong analytical and organization skills and detail-oriented • Team player, pleasant and humorous, willing to support, learn and grow with the team • Excellent command of written and spoken English • Strong leadership and communication skills, able to work under pressure and multitask effectively • Knowledge or genuine interest in blockchain technology and its applications including cryptocurrency and DeFi • Experience in data privacy compliance is a plus
