Description

• Supervise a team of Underwriters in evaluating individual life insurance applications • Mentor and develop life underwriters and facilitate knowledge transfer • Coordinate production and workflow activities between underwriting and administrative support • Manage external customer relationships and provide training as needed • Participate in departmental and corporate projects for continuous improvement

Requirements

• Experience in life underwriting management and evaluation of risk in insurance applications • Strong mentoring and coaching abilities to develop underwriters effectively • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing customer relations • Ability to evaluate complex insurance cases with significant financial implications • Knowledge of industry trends and participating in reinsurance meetings
