• At Gurobi Optimization, we're on a mission! • A mission that focuses on mathematical optimization. • We empower our customers to expand their use of mathematical optimization technology in order to make smarter decisions and solve some of the world's toughest and most impactful business problems. • As a Corporate Tax Manager at Gurobi Optimization, your primary responsibility will be to ensure strict adherence to tax laws and regulations. • Collaborating closely with our operations, finance and accounting team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the punctual and precise reporting of financial data for the purposes of our tax regulatory filings. • Your duties will encompass the oversight of all tax-related operations, including the preparation and submission of tax returns, overseeing tax audits, and providing informed guidance to the leadership team regarding pertinent tax legislation and regulations. • This role requires a strong understanding of both local and international tax laws, regulations, and strategies. • The Tax Manager will ensure the company complies with all tax obligations while identifying opportunities for tax optimization and mitigation of tax risks. • The role requires coordination with various internal stakeholders and external advisors across the jurisdictions in which the company operates. • The ideal candidate will possess strong technical tax knowledge, leadership abilities, and a continuous improvement mindset.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, including exposure to international tax matters and multi-jurisdictional compliance. • Strong knowledge of corporate income tax, VAT, and other indirect taxes across different tax jurisdictions. • Experience with transfer pricing regulations and preparation of transfer pricing documentation. • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. • Understanding of international tax treaties and how they impact business operations. • Proven ability to develop and implement tax strategies that align with business objectives. • Proficiency in financial systems, such as Netsuite and PowerBI.
