Join a company that cares. • Wellhub (formerly Gympass) is a corporate wellness platform. • We are hiring a Backend Software Engineer to our Access team in Brazil! • The Access Team ensures access to our clients' employees and families. • This role involves defining system architecture, ensuring code quality, and promoting development best practices. • It includes incident resolution and troubleshooting in production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience. • Experience designing and developing complex modern web applications. • Experience with at least two different programming languages such as Kotlin, Java, Golang or Scala. • Experience with microservices and high volume distributed systems. • Experience in developing RESTful web services collaborating with front-end teams to create mocks, define payloads, and HTTP status of APIs. • Experience with SQL/NoSQL technology such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, understanding common use cases and performance pitfalls. • Experience dealing with event-driven architectures and message brokers such as RabbitMQ, KAFKA, and an in-depth understanding of their use cases and pitfalls. • Experienced in implementing prototypes and in practices and concepts such as MVP, A/B testing, and feature toggles for rolling-out features to production. • Experience applying computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis. • Experience with monitoring, observability, and KPIs tracking. • Experience with Cloud-based architectures in the AWS. • You have well developed communication skills, you are capable of clearly articulate ideas when communicate to groups. • Ability to communicate in English.
