Join a company that cares. • Wellhub (formerly Gympass) is a corporate wellness platform that connects employees to the best partners for fitness, mindfulness, therapy, nutrition, and sleep. • We are hiring a Data Scientist to our Search & Discovery team in Portugal! • The Search & Discovery Team at Wellhub is on a mission to help users effortlessly find the wellbeing partners and activities that best match their preferences and needs. • As a Data Scientist on our team, you'll play a key role in shaping how millions of users explore and connect with personalized recommendations, smart search capabilities, and curated suggestions.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience. • A true team player, with at least 2 years of experience working as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or Software Engineer in the industry (i.e., after graduation). • Solid programming skills with proficiency in Python and SQL. • Deep understanding of machine learning fundamentals. • Passionate to learn new technologies. • Experience in development of analytical solutions with large scale data processing technologies (e.g. Spark). • Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts. • Great communication skills, both written and oral. Comfortable presenting findings to the team. • You are able to articulate ideas clearly when speaking to groups in English.
