• We are hiring a Staff Backend Software Engineer for our GenAI team in Portugal! • Our GenAI team leverages advanced AI technologies to personalize user experiences and streamline operations. • Help us build the next generation of AI-powered solutions focusing on generative AI, RAG + LLMs fine tuning, and API integrations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers. • Implement robust data retrieval mechanisms to support RAG frameworks and ensure scalable API integrations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. • Strong experience in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, C or C++. • Experienced in working with SQL/NoSQL technologies (e.g., OpenSearch, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL). • Experience with API development and integration. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Able to work efficiently on high scalable and distributed projects. • Proven experience with projects where the scope is not clearly defined. • Faster learner, easily adapting to new technologies quickly and efficiently. • Passionate with experience to build reliable minimum viable products and pilots in a short amount of time. • Experience working with modern agile product development teams. • Keen on helping your team to collaborate within and with other teams. • Lead by example and seen by others as an inspiring technical leader. • Strong communication (English and Portuguese), teamwork and leadership skills.
