Any unsolicited resumes will not be considered and will not obligate Hakkoda to any referral fees. • Hakkoda is a modern data consultancy that empowers data driven organizations to realize the full value of the Snowflake Data Cloud. • We provide consulting and managed services in data architecture, data engineering, analytics and data science. • We are looking for curious and creative individuals who want to be part of a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where everyone’s input and efforts are valued. • We hire outstanding individuals and give them the opportunity to thrive in a collaborative atmosphere that values learning, growth, and hard work. • We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our growing team of experts. • In this role, you will build and optimize data pipelines and architectures within the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP). • You will collaborate with data experts, analysts, architects, and data scientists to create cutting-edge solutions. • The ideal candidate has experience in building data warehouses and analytics systems. • The Data Engineer will focus on designing and maintaining data pipeline architectures. • Your responsibilities include assembling complex data sets, building and optimizing ETL/ELT infrastructure. • You will also ensure robust data governance and security practices are applied consistently.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related technical role. • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, MIS, or a related field. • Experience developing data warehouses and building ETL/ELT ingestion pipelines. • Strong experience in optimizing ‘big data‘ pipelines, architectures, and data sets. • Proficiency in SQL scripting and working with relational databases. • Experience with business intelligence and analytics, particularly working with unstructured data. • Cloud experience with AWS (experience with Azure and GCP is a plus) • Proficiency in Python scripting. • Strong consulting skills. • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
