Description

• Halcyon is looking for an experienced engineer to contribute to our quality assurance practices. • Ensuring that Halcyon’s code maintains a high quality standard to protect customers from ransomware.

Requirements

• Ability to develop in Python • Familiarity with SQL • Understanding and experience with communications channels such as Protobuf, gRPC, Named Pipes, Minifilter Communication Ports, Device IO Controls, and Shared Memory • Experience with designing, implementing, and contributing to automated test frameworks • Ability to troubleshoot Windows applications using tools such as debuggers, system profilers, and process monitors • Knowledge of the Windows Security Model • Knowledge and experience using virtualization tools such as Docker and VMWare • Experience with Linux development • Experience with MacOS development • Good written and verbal communication with an ability to write technical documentation
