• Manage appointment scheduling and rescheduling for patients. • Provide translation services for in-office and telemedicine appointments. • Assist with patient intake scheduling and administrative tasks. • Support the surgical department with administrative needs. • Rebook appointments for patients who do not show up. • Coordinate authorization modification requests. • Manage billing inquiries and address prescription concerns. • Facilitate call transfers for the LA Team. • Support other departments with Spanish-speaking needs. • Send out memos and newsletters to management via email. • Offer support for English outbound calls as required. • Provide telemedicine assistance on HMO clinic days. • Handle additional tasks such as managing faxes, monitoring clinical inboxes, and checking portals.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. • Previous experience as a medical virtual assistant or in a similar role is preferred. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. • Proficiency in medical terminology and procedures. • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment. • Knowledge of medical billing and coding is a plus. • Familiarity with telemedicine platforms and software is an advantage.
