Description
• Intake position - receives inbound and outbound calls • Scheduling of appointments • Referral/authorization - will process authorizations and referrals • Will send medical records as additional tasks • EMR personnel - Will do data entry of patient information, transfer files/sort files scribe and admin tasks as needed • Should be capable of understanding explanation of benefits • Has a background on how claims work and if possible understand denials and appeals • Has an idea in Medical coding/billing or worked as claims processor for provider or insurance • Can handle outbound/inbound calls, chats, and emails
Requirements
• Minimum 1-2 years handling inbound calls • 2 years Healthcare accounts/campaigns experience • Willing to work in a US Time zone and render paid overtimes if needed • Nursing Graduate/Licensed Nurse is a preferred but not required • Internet bandwidth 15 mbps & up • Should have a back up in case of technical issues • Computer processor - I3 with storage ram of 8gb and SSD • Working Headset - Noise cancelling headphones is preferred • Should have a backup laptop
