β’ Harbor is seeking a Legal Technology Consultant - Corporate CLM and eDiscovery to join our growing team. β’ This role is part of the Corporate Legal Technology (CLT) group, which provides technology services to corporate legal departments in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Discovery and Data Management (DDM), and Enterprise Legal Management (ELM). β’ We work with Fortune 500 clients to streamline processes, optimize technology use, and drive more efficient legal operations. β’ We are seeking a Consultant with a strong background in design principles, system configuration, and workflow automation. β’ This position will be key in delivering high-quality client support, ensuring seamless data transitions, and assisting in the successful implementation of legal technology solutions. β’ You will work directly with client legal and IT teams to support legal technology implementations, particularly focusing on CLM, ELM, and eDiscovery solutions. β’ This role blends system design, data analysis, and hands-on project management to deliver effective and tailored solutions to meet diverse client needs in the legal technology landscape. β’ The following is an overview of the services provided to help clients manage their legal technology and data needs across CLM, DDM, and ELM: β’ Assess: Evaluate processes, structure, technology, and spend across ELM, CLM, and eDiscovery, delivering actionable recommendations for efficiency and improvement.
β’ 2-5 years of relevant experience in technology consulting with an emphasis in client-facing roles with technical fluency β’ Experience performing data migration, developing SQL queries, conducting data analysis, and working with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes β’ Hands-on experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, and Business Objects, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio β’ Four-year undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, Legal Studies, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience and education β’ Demonstrated knowledge of the following areas: Legal technology and related software, including CLM, ELM, and eDiscovery tools β’ Business requirements gathering, data mapping, and workflow documentation β’ Legal department and litigation management processes β’ Data migration processes and data load file formatting β’ Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent engagements and clients, ensuring timely and quality-driven deliverables β’ Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas and insights through data and polished client deliverables β’ Keen attention to detail with a commitment to high standards for work product β’ Willingness to self-study, adapt to changing industry trends, and learn new concepts or technologies to solve client challenges β’ Aptitude and desire to learn and develop generative or other AI-enabled solutions in the legal technology space β’ Permanent U.S. work authorization required β’ Chicago and Houston location preferred, but open to remote work
