📋 Description

• The Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs supports Harbor Health’s health plan business by ensuring regulatory compliance and managing day-to-day regulatory affairs activities. • Prepare and manage regulatory reporting and submit regulatory filings. • Track key regulatory and legislative changes. • Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory filings for accuracy and compliance. • Facilitate the organization’s response to regulatory inquiries or actions. • Perform thorough regulatory research and stay updated on changes. • Monitor legislation and rulemaking affecting the organization. • Communicate regulatory updates to internal teams for compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Public Policy, Law, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years in regulatory affairs or compliance within the health insurance industry. • Proficiency in navigating regulatory databases, preparing and submitting filings, and interpreting regulations. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. • Capacity to work effectively under pressure. • Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy. • Proactive in managing potential regulatory issues. • Capable of influencing cross-functional teams. • Graduate degree in health policy, law, business, or related field (preferred). • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, or other government-sponsored programs (preferred). • Advanced knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations (preferred). • Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar credentials (preferred). • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members (preferred).
