Description

• Support the daily operations of the office in a time of high volume • Field communications - Answers first notice of loss calls and inputs detailed information into claims system • Organize internal resources - Prepares accurate, clear, thorough, and concise reports and letters, and transcribes recorded statements • Request documentation - Requests police/fire reports and other claim documentation as needed • Perform other various operations - Completes other various tasks for claims teams upon request

Requirements

• High school diploma • Preferred 1-2 years' experience as an administrative assistant, secretary or receptionist • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills • Experience working in insurance claims preferred but not required • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Positive, high-energy attitude • Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set • Proficient in data entry • Comprehensive experience with all Microsoft Office Suite programs • Competent written and oral business communication skills • Able to provide excellent customer service • Ability to work flexible days, but no more than 40 hours a week between the hours of 8am-5pm • Teamwork and respect for others, as well as ethical behavior and professional conduct • Committed to continuous improvement and professional development
