β€’ Work closely with Program manager to identify and weight automated interview questions β€’ Prepare recurring and new vacancy announcements β€’ Adjudicate applicant packages and evaluate compliance with veterans' preference requirements β€’ Perform routine staffing support duties for recruitment-to-hire functions β€’ Respond to questions and provide explanations of HR policy β€’ Review work products and initiate necessary actions to correct errors β€’ Develop, maintain, and update computerized databases and spreadsheets β€’ Prepare routine reports related to work output and progress β€’ Utilize a computer based HR IS to document work output

Requirements

β€’ Expertise in Federal regulations related to HR staffing policies and procedures β€’ Demonstrated experience in the use of Special Hiring Authorities β€’ Proficiency in implementing all aspects of recruitment to hire functions β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills β€’ Experience developing detailed formal reports β€’ Ability to work independently on assignments β€’ Experience with HR automated systems such as Monster, USA Staffing, HR Connect β€’ Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Federal HR Specialist β€’ Extensive background in staffing and placement on the Federal Government level β€’ Successful completion of at least a Public Trust security clearance process
