📋 Description
• Own and enhance Headspace’s pricing strategy by upgrading assumption pipelines, testing key assumptions, and optimizing pricing models. • Lead claims-based program evaluations in collaboration with internal and external teams, ensuring methodological rigor and clear insights. • Develop and refine risk models for value-based care and alternative payment models, ensuring models are scalable, accurate, and aligned with industry best practices. • Translate analyses into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences, equipping client-facing teams with compelling narratives.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree (at minimum) in a quantitative discipline • 3+ years as a healthcare actuary or similar role • Extensive experience with financial modeling methods, tools, and software including but not limited to Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets • Experience with end-to-end assumption setting, including conducting studies, documenting findings, and communicating results • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams, mentor peers, and influence stakeholders. • Ability to effectively communicate actuarial / analytical findings to non-technical audiences • Understanding of program evaluation and causal inference • Data analysis skills (R, SQL, Python)
