Description

• Work closely with support teams to address and resolve deployment issues in a timely manner. • Design, develop, and maintain build and release processes. • Review and provide feedback on code reviews to ensure high code quality and alignment with product vision and goals. • Work with other team members to design and deliver software solutions in a distributed system environment. • Create tooling to reduce toil and increase reliability of error prone processes for the software engineering and operations teams.

Requirements

• Excellent problem-solving skills • Familiarity with macOS and Linux command-line environments. • Understanding of and experience using source control software such as git. • Experience with BASH. • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible. • Plus to have knowledge of Chef or Puppet. • Experience with backend development Python or another C-based language. • Experience with containerization technology such as: Docker Podman Kubernetes • Understanding of and experience with back-end development and technologies, such as: SQL or NoSQL databases • Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP requests • Experience working with cloud hosting platforms such as: AWS GCP • Able to read and implement technical specifications. • Able to collaborate on developing project specifications. • Able to communicate technical details to non-technical support staff in a solutions-oriented manner.
