• Your Impact. • We are looking for an ambitious Android engineer with a deep desire to learn and develop software that improves people’s lives. • If you’re passionate about developing the best product possible and collaborating with other developers to do so, then we want to hear from you! • You will join our elite team of engineers to deliver new products and services to our members while improving existing ones. • You will collaborate closely with product management, design, and business team to understand product ideas and business needs and deliver solutions iteratively to our members. • Implement native user interfaces using the latest Android techniques. • Drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability. • Play an active role in the team’s technical design choices, code reviews, and documentation.
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years of experience building and shipping features on Android • Kotlin, Java, Multithreading • Android, Android SDK, Gradle, SQL, Design patterns • RxJava/RxKotlin, Retrofit2, Glide/Fresco, Room, Coroutines • Firebase, Google APIs, Jetpack • Git, HTTP, WebSockets • CI/CD • Unit tests • Android NDK (will be a plus) • Experience with custom animations (will be a plus) • Experience with Protobufs (will be a plus)
