📋 Description
• Responsible for leading the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the Epic Willow Ambulatory module within outpatient pharmacy settings • Involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting end-users • Work closely with clinical pharmacists, IT staff, Epic analysts, and healthcare leadership • Lead the planning, execution, and go-live support for the Epic Willow Ambulatory implementation • Develop and manage project plans, milestones, and timelines in coordination with key stakeholders • Collaborate with pharmacists, IT teams, physicians, nurses, and operational leaders • Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, medication safety standards, and healthcare IT policies • Identify and implement enhancements, optimizations, and system upgrades based on user feedback • Develop training materials and support end-user adoption through education and troubleshooting • Oversee project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred • Epic Willow Ambulatory Certification preferred • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred • 5+ years of experience in Epic implementation, healthcare IT, or pharmacy informatics • Experience managing Epic Willow or Epic Willow Ambulatory projects • Knowledge of medication workflows in ambulatory care settings • Experience with Willow Inventory preferred • Strong understanding of Epic Willow Ambulatory functionality • Experience with clinical decision support (CDS), formulary management, and pharmacy automation • Ability to lead large-scale projects and manage multidisciplinary teams • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
